38 Weeks!!!

38 Weeks:
Today puts us at 38 Weeks of Pregnancy. I am so excited, it's getting so close he could literally be here any day and I just can't wait! We only have 14 Days to Go till EDD!!!!


Summer Drives:
Today felt like Summer, nearly 85 degrees but with a wonderful cool breeze to help keep the humidity at bay. I took a drive today, it just seemed like the thing to do. With the all the windows down all the way, and the volume turned up. I went the long way all the way out to Great Neck, just cruising along and singing along to Q104.3 :) Took a nice little walk from the parking spot I found over to the bank (about 3 blocks each way), grabbed a slice of pizza and started driving back. I got a kick out of the looks the construction guys working on our block gave me as I whipped the truck into Reverse and back right into the driveway; easy as pie :D!


Around The House:
Did a few dishes, cleaned some chicken, and then sat and relaxed for a while. Mom went out with Mimi to try to buy her bathing suits for her trip to the Poconos this weekend. Just waiting on them to get back & dinner at this point.


My Other Half:
Erik just called as I was typing this, he is so angry at his bosses and I feel so badly aside from just being worried! When his truck died yesterday the bosses decided to "patch" it to get it to last a few more weeks till it can be replaced. He got his truck back around 10am today to find out that all they did was cut out his Catalytic Converter (essentially making his truck illegal and ensuring it will NOT pass inspection when it is up next month)! Basically all they did was make sure that when his truck really falls apart and he gets into an accident, that he will be able to be going faster when it happens. Erik said the only reason he even cares is because he has something/one to take care of now. That if I wasn't "in the picture" he wouldn't give a shit. And he made some comment about hoping he's still around when Joshua is born. I am beyond words! I want to go to his job and beat the fuck out of the bosses or just scream at them, make them see sense somehow! :( But I'm sure Erik will take care of it :\ I'm just worried.... He had such a bad day. I wish I had some good news to call and give him!!!!!


Update (11pm):
Made dinner (dad was tired). Hid in the bedroom while Idol was on.. god I hate that show. Took a walk with Mom & Dad again. Now my back hurts and I'm tired and Mimi is being a fucking BITCH. She didn't come upstairs until JUST NOW AT 11PM and expects to start packing for the weekend NOW. And since Mom isn't up here helping her pack she is throwing a fit and shouting.
Me: And this is my problem why?
Her: Because you are in this room
Me: Oh really?
Her: YES You are in this room so it's your problem too.
Oh and she is still running around doing god knows what and throwing a temper tantrum.
I feel like strangling her. Or kicking her ass. Or just teaching her some fucking manners. She had better hope she gets up quickly and quietly in the morning or she will learn a very valuable lesson in respect. In fact I'm seriously considering waking up at 530 and physically KICKING her out of her bed onto the floor :)
