More on the Shower

Today We Are 36 Weeks & 6 Days Pregnant ~ Only 22 Days to Go!!


Waking Up to You:
Firstly I have to say that waking up to Erik's face is my favorite way to wake up! I love it; I wake up smiling! :) He says that I'm literally glowing; he's even kind of gotten into the whole *baby* thing a bit more; looking through the piles of gifts people left for us yesterday and smiling... I love it when he smiles. It's like the sun coming out from behind a storm cloud; and it lights my world.

Today:
After Erik left and breakfast was accomplished Steph & I spent the day cleaning up a bit after the party. I think I went a little over the top with having re-organized the pantry though.... lol! I did 2 big loads of baby laundry so now all of the 0-6mo clothing is clean and folded. I even cleaned up the bedroom (my 1/2 of it anyway!), re-packed most of my hospital bag & packed the diaper bag. Dad had to work today (since he took Friday off to pick up Steph) and had to work the late shift. Hence I made dinner. I made chicken in a nice creamy white wine sauce with some mixed veggies tossed over pasta. Everyone loved it :D I feel so proud. Wish I'd thought to take a picture!!! But we had a HUGE bowl full of food and barely anything left, even mom had 2nds!

More on the Shower:
Now that my brain isn't fried from so much going on all at once lol I thought I'd say something about the Baby Shower again:

The shower was wonderful. Not many friends came but the ones that did made the day perfect. Erik only came at the end lol "too much Estrogen for me" he says. We did play a few games but of course since I helped set them up I didn't really play; but that's OK I'm not big on spotlights!
Had a wonderful time just socializing with everyone; I had a hundred people tell me I'm glowing & that I'm all baby... I was probably glowing at all the nice compliments and wonderful gifts! :)
Now though I'm 3x more anxious for him to be here ♥ I want to send out a huge THANK YOU again to everyone that helped the shower happen & everyone who sent something, especially to everyone who came!! My sisters didn't even fight/argue xP. Add in getting to spend some time with Erik afterwards and it was a nearly PERFECT day ^_^

I do have a few more pictures (not from the shower... but of some of the WONDERFUL gifts people gave us.. I will upload tomorrow) Tomorrow I am going to tackle the Video Camera that Vicky gave us and try to upload some videos too!

Despite the fact that when I found out Stephanie had used my camera when I wasnt looking I wanted to Kill her... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture. It really captured how I felt.. I wanted to melt into him ♥
